Nicky and his friends, Nick and Colin, won second place for the school in their category of technology at the Githens Science Fair. The boys were very proud as they, quote: "hey, we had no help from the P's!" Their project involved building bridges (with popsicle sticks) of different designs. Then they used bags of rice (& to their amazement) weights to test the strength of the bridges. The bridge design they thought would hold the most, did, in fact, do so, but they never imagined it would hold 17 pounds!

Very nice job! And to imagine you did it without your parents.... You are getting far too self-sufficient! :)
So, is this a premonition? Does Nicky want to be an engineer? 17 pounds is a lot of weight for a popsickle stick bridge!
So! Here we have a budding Civil Engineer, or a Mechanical Engineer, or an Architect. Way to go Nick.
