A night of Schnitzel!
Uncle Wally finally consented to making us schnitzel one night. The kids (& the adults) consumed it with great gusto! Uncle Wally makes very yummy schnitzel! By the next day, it was ALL GONE!
As far as noodles go, we are all referring to spaetzle, right? They're the easiest things in the world, but having one of the spaetzle maker contraptions really does help.
The spaetzle maker looks like an oversized garlic press. You just make the dough (recipe is very easy - flour, milk, eggs, pinch of salt) and fill the spaetzle maker and press the top down holding it over a pot of boiling water.
There is another kind that sits on top of the pot and you move the hopper back and forth, and it "cuts" the dough as it falls in the water. Not worth the mess.

But are his Oma noodles as good as Oma's?
That would not be possible. I can only do so much.
Although I did hear him mentioning that he wanted a noodle maker and a noodle board....
The Little family can only dare to dream.... especially Maddy who declared that schnitzel and Oma noodles are the best food on the planet!
Oma would be proud!

Every household needs a spaetzle maker.
